Flamingo Pink Pyrex

For Bettie - and Juli - here is a photo of the flamingo pink pyrex pie plate that I purchased in What Cheer to add to my collection - along with a later pink gooseberry dish showing the difference in pink intensity.  I also saw a "desert dawn" pie plate - it is pink speckled with darker pink - it just isn't what I have collected but was very attractive too.  My oldest sister got married during the "pink" and "turquoise" craze - avacado was already "in" when I got married later - but I have a soft spot for the pink - it softens my wood-tone kitchen.  Now - I'm ready to make Myrna's pink pie?
