Love, love Meyer lemons. It is one of the few varieties that will grow here in North Florida. My backyard tree this season produced close to 500 lemons. Take good care of yur Meyer elmon it will not disappoint you- although you may have to keep transferring it to a bigger pot over the years. I would guess that your climate is too cold for a groud transplant.
Oh, how I envy you all of those lemons. Yes, we are way to cold for a ground transplant. I just bought 4 Meyer Lemons at the store and thought I was so lucky. You seldom see them up here in the frozen North!
