When “the convenience” wasn’t so convenient?
When many farms looked like this one – with a chicken house, barns, “foursquare” white house, silos?
When there were geese in the pasture?

I grew up in the city so all our conveniences were inside. I do remember visits to my Uncle's log cabin in the mountains of Utah where the convenience was an open pit outhouse. I felt like a real pioneer while there!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't have an outside convenience growing up either, but we had neighbors, friends and family who did. Glad we don't have to use one in our subzero weather right now!
