From Iowa...Baking, Cooking, Canning, Gardening, Sundays in Iowa
Makes me think of my grandma and grandpa's house. He was the gardener and there was always a row of tiger lilies along the south fence line.
We call them ditch lilies here in Kentucky
We have them in Wisconsin, and in Connecticut, too. Isn't it wondrous that such a beautiful flower grows wild everywhere? I am always so happy to see the tiger lilies and Queen Anne's lace. I even have some in my back yard.
One of the little pleasures of summer...
I love my day lilies. So bright and happy.
