This is a really delicious loaf of bread (and FAST to make) and I would encourage everyone to try it! I am having it toasted/buttered with my morning coffee, and it's just amazing!Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17806666755044240033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-678264306526442157.post-70218402105186579832017-05-26T19:57:22.898-05:002017-05-26T19:57:22.898-05:00I guess I wouldn't mess with the yeast for thi...I guess I wouldn't mess with the yeast for this recipe...it's very successful as written.Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00060391185753177506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-678264306526442157.post-51561709588690112922017-05-26T19:37:07.585-05:002017-05-26T19:37:07.585-05:00I would not try just because the rising time is sh...I would not try just because the rising time is short, that said I will ask Sue as she uses it more than I do.Myrnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14644142108001303079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-678264306526442157.post-37226972668530121132017-05-26T14:53:53.730-05:002017-05-26T14:53:53.730-05:00I have another question: could one use instant yea...I have another question: could one use instant yeast in a batter bread, instead of active dry?
Thanks for helping out a bread-baking newbie!Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17806666755044240033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-678264306526442157.post-74978407837876794032017-05-26T14:22:31.456-05:002017-05-26T14:22:31.456-05:00It IS delicious! I did not have any fresh herbs, so I used all dried (including 2 teaspoons of dried parsley). It's very convenient that one can use either fresh or dried. But it was a very gooey business getting it from bowl to pan--Myrna, have you got any other tips besides flouring the hands?
It had such a delicious fragrance while it baked, and I was able to produce a nice light, crusty loaf with same height as shown. Another yummy addition to my recipe collection--thanks, Myrna!Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17806666755044240033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-678264306526442157.post-10039772739113978962017-05-26T06:54:53.139-05:002017-05-26T06:54:53.139-05:00Looks delicious.
