As you can guess, this isn’t tortellini in the
photo of this dish…I had frozen ravioli on hand instead, and it was just as
good or better.  I also didn’t have the
frozen vegetable mix called for in the dish; I used what I had in the freezer;
broccoli and garden red peppers.  I did
follow the method and amounts, however, and this is truly a tasty, quick
meal.    It’s really a simple, real Alfredo, and much, much better
than anything you can buy in a jar full of preservatives.   My husband’s comment “Now this looks
healthy!”          
                        Tortellini in Cream
Sauce
  1 1/2           Cups 
Frozen Broccoli, Cauliflower and Carrots or Vegetables of Choice
  7            
Ounces  Frozen Cheese-filled
Tortellini or Ravioli
     3/4           Cup 
Hot Water
     1/2     
Teaspoon  Garlic -- minced
     1/4     
Teaspoon  Dried Marjoram --
crushed
     1/8     
Teaspoon  Pepper -- freshly ground
     1/2           Cup 
Heavy Cream
     1/4           Cup 
Parmesan Cheese -- grated
In a large
skillet combine vegetables, frozen tortellini, water, garlic, marjoram, and
pepper.  Bring to boiling.  Reduce heat. 
Cover and simmer for 7 minutes. 
Drain well. Return to pan. Stir in cream and Parmesan; heat through.
Serves 2
