Sunday in Iowa


The leaning silo of Iowa…one of several I've seen.  This one has been leaning there since at least the 1970's or earlier.
Near Carlisle, Iowa, Southeast of Des Moines on Highway 5.

    I used to live just outside of Swan Iowa back in the early 1970's. I was young, about 11 or 12 but I'm sure we drove past this silo. Thank you for sharing!

      I'm sure you've seen this silo - it's close to the Swan turnoff.
      If you haven't been back to Swan in awhile, you'd be surprised to see that there have been a number of new homes in the area.
