I have such fond memories of "bridal wreath" spirea growing everywhere (it seemed) in my childhood years in Illinois. I planted Nine-Bark around our deck because I was told it would grow well up here in Minnesota and have flowers just as lovely as bridal wreath. I was lied to . . . and too gullible! :o(

ReplyDeleteMama Pea, We had Spirea in Southern Minnesota, but I don't recall ever seeing it growing where I lived in Northern Minnesota.
