Sunday in Iowa


An old homestead on 149 between North and South English, Iowa 
Something about this "home place" speaks to me no matter what time of year we drive by it.

    I love how neat and tidy it is, whether it's occupied or not. When you think of the time in our history when the small, independent farmer could make a good living for himself and his family . . . it was such a short, short period.
