From Iowa...Baking, Cooking, Canning, Gardening, Sundays in Iowa
Sunday in Iowa...
It's been cold and rainy this week, but the tulips are still beautiful at the public gardens in Pella, Iowa in preparation for their Tulip Time Festival next week.
These are in the gardens at the Scholte House museum there.
Really, Pella is fun to visit anytime of the year...good bakeries, meat markets, shops, a winery and a cheese house not far from town. Their public gardens are a lot like those we saw in Europe; and are nice all summer long.

Pretty! I always wanted to go to that festival, but haven't made it yet. Maybe some day!
