    Great photo and take a look at that water pump. Oh, How I remember using one of them growing up.
    I remember a house we lived in had no running faucet water but we had a red pump by the kitchen sink for us to pump our water to wash dishes, etc. Of course it would be all cold so always had to heat up water whenever we needed or wanted hot water.
    No inside toilet either. We had the old fashion kind; the good ole Out House..........NOT. No 'good ole days' about it. Especially hated going out there in them Iowa winters
