There is an Amish settlement with about 40 businesses around Drakesville, population 185, and Bloomfield, the county seat of Davis County.

    The old buildings sure bring back memories. Those steps almost look as though they would accommodate a wheelchair since only the small center portion is actually a step. It seems narrow though.

      We think it was to accommodate wheeled dollies of merchandise into the back storage area of the store...or not!
