I believe it was a lean-to roof that has collapsed, along with that barn, which was sinking away. There are a lot of galvanized steel roofs on old barns here.
The new steel roofs on houses appears to be a heavier quality. Sure a lot of homes here in our small city that have them. It seems to be the newest THING in roofs.

ReplyDeleteThe older looking metal roofs on these two barns make me think that metal roofing was the precursor to that now so popular on houses!
