I love Sunday in Iowa, always one of my favorite of your posts. Visited Iowa only once and fell in love with how beautiful it is and how friendly the people are. These pictures every Sunday take me back!
I’m not sure where you are located in the state. I was born and lived in Des Moines for 34 years.. but had family scattered over most of central Iowa, plus toes of Cedar Rapids, Anamosa, Carlisle, Sioux City, and in the southern town of Leon. It’s a beautiful state and what is sad is many Iowans don’t realize what they have there in such beauty unless they move away.. I realize that Iowa is NOT boring as I once thought as a young person. There are plains, hills, beautiful rolling hill and valleys and river country. The most beautiful farms also! (Love the pretty snow but mostly don’t miss the winter weather!) I will stick with the pictures- i would move back since I’m widowed now, but am too arthritic and old to think of relocating at my age or if was younger I surely would!
