Do Your Remember?

I finished this puzzle shortly after I took the picture

Do You Remember ?
-Cold snowy days and nights
-Making popcorn in a pan on the stove
-Making Jigsaws on the dining room table all winter long
We always had a jigsaw in pieces on our dining room table, I did and still do in the winter, my daughter and grandchildren still make them. Even in the era of online puzzles you can do on your phone and tablet there is still a market for jigsaw puzzles you put together by hand. When someone stops by they can’t resist putting in a piece or two and two hours later are still there working on the puzzle.

    1. Good for you, they are fun aren't they. The one in the photo is 1000 pieces also. I rarely do anything smaller. Takes more time but I don't have to keep to a schedule anymore.

    1. Good to know there are still some people doing puzzles. Such a nice peaceful pastime and good for our brains. Are you starting another one?

  4. Love jigsaw puzzles! We also get one going when snow is in the forecast. My home is small, and I like to get them finished in a few days, so I usually get 500 pc if I can find one I like. The picture is more important than the piece count, though. I prefer Americana themes similar to the one you chose.

    1. That is a Charles Wysocki puzzle. I do like his and I have seen them in 500 count. I bought some at Costco this year before christmas and got some nice ones for half what I have paid other places. Our local book sale also usually has puzzles for sale.

  5. This is a fun post! We do several puzzles when we're with my brother and sister-in-law. Then we work one or two during the winter days after Christmas. I just finished 1000 piece puzzle two weeks ago. It's addictive! I didn't realize that Costco carried puzzles before Chrismas. I'll watch next year!

    1. So glad I am not the only one doing puzzles. They are good for us as they make us use our thinking skills and not just sit and vegetate.
The only time I see the puzzles at Costco is before Christmas, usually starting in November. I found 2 at Aldi's this year which surprised me.

  6. Well, apparently I wasn't very observant before Christmas! Ha! I'll keep my eyes open at both stores this year!
