Having a little fun with the big snow banks,
the folks at the drug store decorated this big pile in their parking lot.
Snow Biz, their popular snow cone and ice cream stand, sits here all summer in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
About 1/4 of the building actually is their pharmacy business, the remainder of their building contains a big calling card for visitors, a huge seasonal collection of decorations, gifts, crafts, candy, etc. The hard part is not buying way more than you need! It's often on tour bus routes; it's now decorated for the Easter season.
Sounds like a great store! Reminds me of a variety store in my grandparents' town when I was young.
ReplyDeleteIt is like the variety stores I remember also, except way more expensive! Fun to look around in though. They seem to carry a very large inventory all the time and have some good sales.
