I wonder if the factory workers of today feel the same about their jobs as those of yesteryear did? Do they today have as much pride while operating the machines and these hand-workers did? Many of my aunts worked in assembly line factories for short periods before they married. In the summer during high school, I worked packaging jars of "freckle removing cream" and loved it. A sense of pride (strange?) in what we did and good job companionship.
