We had snow in our Southeastern Iowa area overnight both Monday and Wednesday this week...a record for early snow. It was enough to cover the still-leafy trees and grassy areas before melting in the afternoons.

I think snow when there are still leaves on the trees is always beautiful. Although it can make trouble for power lines and such. :o/ Thanks for sharing this lovely photo.

ReplyDeleteWe don't watch the news anymore, so I'm not sure what weather is coming our way. If you've got it, it will make it's way here to us in Ohio.
It's so wonderful that you two live so close to each other and share your lives! After all this time, I still wish mightily that I had a sister. You two are very, very blessed!
ReplyDeleteMade it interesting for trick-or-treaters, I imagine. I enjoy the snow, but am in no hurry to rush past fall - not that we have much say in it, right? Thanks for sharing the beauty. And how nice that you and Myrna live so close to one another.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't always lived this close together, but it's nice to have someone close by who shares your earliest memories.
ReplyDeleteAt one time I was living in Northern Minnesota and Sue was in Texas, this is so much nicer. We can do things together and I have a special-brother-law living close. Nothing like Family in times of need or just to have coffee with.
