Cute little house but oh Brr; think of all the cold air that comes up from the bottom of that house with it being open underneath the way it is.
Oh, how I remember as a child living in Iowa one house that we lived in had no insulation so during the cold winter months we would have frost on the inside of the house and when we woke in the mornings the linoleum flooring would be curled up. The only heat we had was a wood burning stove. No inside bathroom, but we did have an outhouse by golly. The good ole days...……………..Not.

Oh Yeah, we always had indoor plumbing living in town, but friends of our folks lived in the country and had an outhouse. NOT fun in the winter!
