Cook's Choice

Occasionally, okay, more often than that, our families protest that they don’t want to try another new recipe…they want a repeat of some they liked really well.  As Bettie said at coffee time this morning “it was a really good recipe – never to be seen again!”

So this next week we’re doing “cook’s choice” – remember years ago in school when the menu simply listed that?  Myrna and I didn’t have any trouble finding a week’s worth of family favorite recipes to share next week – from no particular cookbook and some of which I can’t remember the source for, I’ve been making them so long, and one simple “family favorite” from our Grandmother’s kitchen that we both have made for our children and grandchildren.
