I used to
get in trouble with our Grandma for wanting to pick asparagus for lunch after it
should be left to grow for next year.
That’s how much I love it…so I couldn’t help making the asparagus recipes
from "everyday food". I
used my wok for this dish.

Sautéed Asparagus With
Bacon

Slices Bacon -- cut in 1"
pieces
2
Bunches Asparagus -- 2 pounds,
trimmed

Teaspoons Dijon Mustard
3
Tablespoons Fresh Parsley
In a large
skillet, cook bacon over medium, stirring occasionally, until browned and
crisp, 8-10 minutes.
With a
slotted spoon, transfer to paper towels to drain.
Add 2
bunches asparagus, trimmed and cut in 1" pieces to skillet and season with
coarse salt and pepper. Cook, stirring,
until asparagus is tender, about 10 minutes.
Remove from
heat and stir in bacon, Dijon mustard and fresh parsley.
