A World War II Japanese cannon 
In Central Park in Pella, Iowa

After world war II was over, this cannon replaced the civil war cannon from the park that was volunteered to the war effort to be melted down.

    Pity the Civil War cannon is no more. Gone for a good cause, perhaps, but still . . .
