I do remember but my mom's was just two galvanized tubs connected together with the wringer between. This one looks like it was truly a deluxe model! And you know what? They may have been more labor intensive than the washing machines we have today, but they got the clothes clean!
Remember well. My mother had one and was First washing machine I used/owned when first married but the one I had was just a single tub. Wish I still had it today.

ReplyDeleteI used my wringer washer for years after I got a newer washer. It sure got the heavy overalls and rugs cleaner.

ReplyDeleteMine was a single tub also, though I had two nice tubs to rinse in. I would sure like to have those tubs now.
