Sunday in Iowa...Des Moines River


The Des Moines River near Oskaloosa Iowa  
 Lots of Rain this year, the river has been over flood stage for weeks

    Pretty photo. When I was just a kid we lived close to the Des Moines River down by Lehigh

    The Delta in Mississippi has been flooded for months.

      We hear about the flooding down South but sometimes it is hard to imagine it. The Mississippi floods here in Iowa also, but doesn't usually last for Months.
