  2. We hosted 24 members of my husband's family and everyone had a good time (at least they said they did!). We haven't hosted in years, so we enjoyed the challenge. You can't prep too much, that's for sure!

    2. Yes, mid-summer: long hours of daylight; camping and beach vacations, boating, barbecues and picnics - love it!
Fresh peas, new potatoes, salads and fresh cherries available for Christmas Day - and the best of Northern Hemisphere traditions as well.

It's the morning of New Year's Eve as I write, so I'll take the opportunity to wish you all the best for the New Year in 2020.

    3. Ah. Valerie...we are jealous, although we had a warm (for us) December. Good wishes for the new year.

  4. We did. Worked on the house a lot. But, we are always working on the house or the property.

    1. Thanks so much for your posts, always nice to hear from you. Sounds like you were busy. And, yes, I do think the great granddaughter is sweet and she is a happy and ACTIVE child.
