    It's been really hot here also. We are having August weather in July.

    "Is there a better place to spend a hot Iowa summer afternoon?" Yes; sitting on a block of ice. :} I help to cool down by putting a cool wet towel around my neck.
    Looks like the cows are enjoying their swimming / watering hole.
    Sue, sounds like you're receiving some of our Texas heat.

      Colleen, l went to high school and college in Texas, and worked there until I got married. I miss it, but in July, maybe not so much!

    It was about the same here in Toronto today - we've had massive thunderstorms and have been under tornado watch all afternoon!

    I lived in Texas for 20 years..summer starts in May through Halloween. But those cows have the right idea.
