We were surprised to find Sadie Jane’s in New Sharon was celebrating the first day of Spring and the above average temps in the sixties yesterday by being open and selling all their ice cream treats and hot sandwiches like “Iowa” loose meat sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc.
We think they have the best ice cream around! We had a hard time getting a photo without being blocked by a full parking lot! But no problem getting those vanilla cones.
What a delightful little ice cream/snack shop! Loving ice cream as I do, I'd stop there whenever I could. ;o)

ReplyDeleteIts surprising that almost every town, small or large, in Iowa has at least one or two places like this every summer. Jobs for high school kids, treats for everyone, young and old.
