The path to the kitchen garden...
I like these photos. I looked up this soldier and discovered he is connected somehow to Mt. Pleasant IA, my home town. I have never heard him mentioned as a local hero so maybe he didn't live there for long before moving west. Thank you for highlighting him. Details of the past bring it to life for me.
