 Pasture on the edge of town in Webster, Iowa

The huts are for farrowing pasture-raised pigs  
It's not uncommon to see pastures like this in neighborhoods in even larger rural towns

  1. Oh, I would have thought those little white boxes were for baby calves to produce veal. I quit eating veal years ago.

    1. They do use them for bottle calves. Don't see much veal anymore around here.
